Data Deletion Policy

Article 1: Introduction
Al-Muraba Information Technology, Research and Training Company (hereinafter referred to as "Al-Muraba", "we", "us", or "the Company") is committed to protecting the privacy of its users and giving them full control over their personal data. This policy explains your right to request deletion of your data and the procedures followed to execute such requests.
We believe that every user has the right to request deletion of their personal data from our systems, and we are committed to providing clear and easy mechanisms to exercise this right.
Article 2: Scope of Application
This policy applies to all personal data collected through:
- Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems
- Workflow Management systems
- Web and mobile applications
- Integrated electronic payment services

When submitting a data deletion request, the following types of data will be deleted:

- Identity photos and personal documents
3.2 Account Data
- Username and login credentials
- Account preferences and settings
- Activity and usage logs
- Saved notifications and messages
3.3 Employment Data
- Job title and work information
- Employment history
- Attendance and leave records
3.4 Technical Data
- Login logs and IP addresses
- Device and browser information
- Cookies associated with your account
Article 4: Data Excluded from Deletion
We may not be able to delete certain data for the following legal and regulatory reasons:
- Financial and Tax Records: Iraqi law requires retention for specified periods
- Transaction Records: Invoices and receipts required for accounting purposes
- Legally Required Data: Data retained under court order or government request
- Fraud Prevention Data: Records necessary for system protection and abuse prevention
- Anonymized Data: Data that has been anonymized and cannot be linked to you
Notice: If there is data that cannot be deleted for legal reasons, we will notify you with an explanation of the reasons and expected retention period.
Article 5: How to Submit a Data Deletion Request
You can request deletion of your data through one of the following methods:
Method 1: Via Email

- Service or application name
- Clear description of the request (full or partial deletion)
Method 2: From Within the App or System
You can request deletion of your data by:
- Logging into your account
- Navigating to "Settings" then "Privacy"
- Selecting "Request Data Deletion"
- Confirming the request via the verification code sent to you

Article 6: Identity Verification Procedures
To protect your data and prevent unauthorized deletion, we will verify your identity through:
- Verification of the email address registered in the system
- Sending a verification code (OTP) to the registered phone number
- Requesting additional information to confirm account ownership
- In some cases, we may request a copy of an official identity document
Note: We will not accept deletion requests submitted by third parties unless a certified official authorization is provided.
Article 7: Timeframe for Processing Requests
We are committed to processing data deletion requests within the following timeframe:
Within 48 hoursConfirmation of request receipt and initiation of verification procedures
Within 7 daysCompletion of identity verification and request review
Within 30 daysExecution of deletion process and sending final confirmation
In exceptional cases (such as complex requests or large volumes of data), we may need an additional period not exceeding 30 additional days, and we will notify you accordingly.
Article 8: Consequences of Data Deletion
You should be aware of the consequences of deleting your data:
- Account Termination: Your account will be permanently closed and you will not be able to access it
- Data Loss: All data, records, and files associated with your account will be lost
- Service Termination: All services associated with your account will cease
- No Recovery: We will not be able to recover data after deletion
- Active Subscriptions: Paid subscription fees will not be refunded
Important Warning: The data deletion process is final and cannot be reversed. We recommend exporting any data you need before submitting a deletion request.
Article 9: Deletion Confirmation
After completing the data deletion process, we will:
- Send a confirmation notice via email detailing the deleted data
- Clarify any data retained for legal reasons (if applicable)
- Provide a request reference that you can use for future inquiries
Article 10: Deletion of Data from Third Parties
If your data has been shared with third parties (such as payment service providers), we will:
- Notify third parties of the deletion request
- Request deletion confirmation from them
- Inform you of the deletion status with each party
Note: Third parties may be subject to different deletion policies and their own timeframes.
Article 11: Deletion of Connected Application Data
If you have linked your account with external applications or platforms (such as social media login):
- We will unlink and delete shared data from our end
- We recommend reviewing privacy settings on those platforms
- You may need to request data deletion separately from those platforms
Article 12: Rejection of Deletion Request
We may reject a data deletion request in the following cases:
- Inability to verify the identity of the requester
- Existence of legal obligations preventing deletion
- Pending legal or financial disputes
- Need for data to protect our legal rights
In case of rejection, we will notify you in writing of the reasons for rejection and your right to object.
Article 13: Governing Law
This policy is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Iraq. Any dispute arising from or related to this policy shall first be referred for amicable settlement, and if that fails, the competent Iraqi courts shall have jurisdiction to consider it.
Authoritative Version: In case of any conflict or difference in interpretation between the Arabic and English versions of this policy, the Arabic version shall prevail and be the legally binding reference.
